Lent is a season often associated with giving something up—but at First Presbyterian, it’s also a season for making room: room for healing, for growth, for grace.

This year’s worship series, "Pruning for Growth," invites us to take a closer look at the parts of our lives that may be holding us back—bitterness, fear, pride, discontent—and ask what God might be ready to clear away so something better can take root.

Each week, we’ll explore the wisdom of Scripture through the image of spiritual gardening: what needs to be trimmed, what needs tending, and how the soil of the soul can be restored to bear the fruits of peace, joy, and love.

You don’t have to have it all together. You don’t have to come with answers. Just bring your honest questions, your weariness, your hope—and let God do the gardening.

Come find quiet. Come find direction.
Come find the freedom that only grace can grow.
