Easter is more than just one joyful day—it’s the beginning of something new. This spring at First Presbyterian, we invite you to experience that newness in a fresh way through our Easter worship and our upcoming series, Fruit of the Spirit.
Join us on Easter Sunday, April 20, for a celebration of resurrection, joy, and hope. Whether you’ve been attending church for years or are just considering a visit, Easter morning is the perfect time to reconnect with what matters most. Come as you are—bring your family, your questions, your weariness, or your wonder. The tomb is empty. Love has won. And that changes everything.
But the journey doesn’t stop with Easter. In the weeks that follow, we’ll explore what resurrection life really looks like. Our series, Fruit of the Spirit (April 20–June 8), takes us deep into the life Christ offers—not just eternal life, but a transformed life here and now. Each week, we’ll focus on a spiritual fruit from Galatians 5:22–23: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Through scripture, song, community, and reflection, we’ll ask:
What does it mean to live with peace that persists, even in chaos?
How do we stay rooted in love and joy, even when life feels heavy?
Where do we see God's Spirit shaping us—individually and as a church?
It’s a season designed for growth, grace, and spiritual depth. Whether you're seeking direction, longing for connection, or just hoping to breathe more deeply, you’ll find a place here.
Come worship with us this Easter... and come back each week to grow!
Children are welcome. Families are celebrated. And together, we’ll step into the joy of resurrection and the Spirit’s ongoing work in us all!
