Youth in Action!

Sunday afternoon, September 15, was a busy time for First Presbyterian Church's Youth Group.  Together with Trinity Lutheran Church's Youth Group, fifteen youth and adults worked together at the Loving Bottoms Diaper Bank to pack diapers and period packs to be distributed throughout West Central Illinois.

Loving Bottoms serves  12 Illinois counties. Volunteers organize the donated items, bundling diapers and assembling period kits in preparation for distribution. Their dedication ensures that Loving Bottoms is ready to meet the needs of families efficiently. Partner Agencies pick up their orders from the warehouse located at 77 S. Henderson St., Galesburg, IL 61401. This step is crucial for getting the supplies into the hands of those who need them most. Partner Agencies then distribute the diapers and period supplies directly to families in need. This final step ensures that babies and individuals have the essential supplies they need for health and dignity.

The youth groups of both First Presbyterian and Trinity Lutheran churches are proud to help those in need in our area and throughout Illinois!
