First Presbyterian Church cares deeply for God's creation, especially the people of Galesburg and Knox County.  We don't just feel compassion, we strive to act on that compassion.  One way we support local missions is our loose offering.  On the First and Third Sundays of the month any unidentified cash or coins in the offering plate (that aren't in an envelope with a name or pupose listed) goes to a local mission.

On the first Sunday of each month we support Habitat for Humanity.  Our members are board members, homebuilders, and donors for this important charity in Knox County.  By working with our partners at Habitat, we are working toward a more just world with affordable housing.

On third Sundays we send our loose offering to Galesburg FISH.  Added to our many tireless church volunteers at FISH and other financial gifts, we are making an impact on hunger in Galesburg and the surrounding area!

Of course, you can give to either of these programs anytime through our church.  Just give on our website or write a check to First Presbyterian Church and indicate one of our local mission partners:
