Yee-haw! On Sunday, February 2, over 90 people took part in the FPC Annual Chili Cook-Off. Sixteen chilis were judged in the categories of Best Traditional Chili, Spiciest Chili, Best Unique Chili, Best Vegetarian Chili and Kids’ Choice Chili. Competition was fierce and voting was fast and furious. Here are the winners in each category:

Best Traditional Chili: John Trotter, Joanne Stewart (tie)

Spiciest Chili: Carrie Carnes

Best Unique Chili: Sarah Rozny

Best Vegetarian Chili: Cindy Marquith

Kids’ Choice Chili: Colleen Culbertson

Thank you to the youth and adults for all of their hard work prepping, serving, and with the cleanup! Thank you to all the chili makers, cornbread and dessert bakers! Thank you to all who tasted and voted for their favorite chilis! Everyone made this a very successful cook-off. Thank you for the generous donations! Monies raised will go towards a youth group trip to Adventureland in Altoona, IA this summer.
